I like looking for deer and spotting them bedded.

I have an archery tag in my second choice unit and will be hunting a mountain I can see from the house.

So, we went out today in the middle of the day to look for deer. It was warm, the vegetation was thick, and I didn't glass for terribly long.

I did glass this one deer up.

Hopefully more to come.

That deer is pretty relaxed. Must be in a good mood for the holiday weekend. With your ability to scout the area easily you should find the right buck or two.

I was staring in the shade in the middle...then, boom, there she is.

Here's some from this evening a few miles from my house in my unit. They were up and down from the public sage into the private alfalfa.

2 which should end as 4 pts.
2 should end up as 3 pts
And 3 forkies I saw this evening in this group.

Pics aren't great. Almost half a mile away in 90 degree heat made pictures tough to get. 20210626_190602.jpg20210626_190406.jpg20210626_190205.jpg20210626_190047.jpg

Going out scouting for the first time this year this weekend and hoping to turn up some fuzzies!!

Not to hard to spot this guy still hanging out in town by the soccer fields. Last year his big brother was with him must’ve made it to somebodies wall or front bumper.

I see the doe fine enough but it looks like she has a fawn in the cover below her and to the left.
