I just got back from three days at Scotland Neck, NC. The weather was crummy, but I managed to see deer everyday, and got at least one shot a day. Did just fine the 1st morning and popped a nice meat doe on my first shot.
After that, it was a disaster. |oo Missed three shots in a row! Hurried one, was just lining up on the next (a piabald), faintly put my finger on the trigger and Boom! ???? A little later, another shot and when the smoke cleared.... What the...?????
Had a good time anyway! Gives me something new to play with until next year.
