How many bullets for backpack elk hunt?
10 rounds, three in mag, 7 in holder on butt stock. Have never needed more than two but I'm sure my time for a rodeo is coming at some point. Either one will do just fine in a cow elks vitals. Either one will break down a cow just fine. Me personally, given the two options would go with the 150 if it's more accurate.- elkfanatic

Suppressor help
For me I would have it rethreaded to 5/8-24 if the barrel is thick enough. If it's too thin you can get a 1/2"-28× 5/8"-24 adapter for your barrel ( stay away from the cheap ones!!! ) or you can get a different end cap for your suppressor that's threaded 1/2"-28. Suppressor Accuracy on a Previously Unthreaded Barrel
I've had a couple of mine threaded for suppressors with no loss of accuracy, if any thing it got better but that's probably due to me not having to deal with the noise and concussion of the muzzle blast.- elkfanatic

What's on the smoker today?
Had it in brine for five days. Cold smoked with apple wood for 3 1/2 hours then indirect heat on the grill at 175-200 till internal temp hit 145°.- elkfanatic
