Barrel break in for Weatherby's
Picked up a new 307 Range XP in 7mm Rem Mag, weather looks like it might smarten up enough soon to take it out and put some rounds downrange. Looking at Weatherby's recommended barrel break in, it seems a little extreme. Shoot 3, clean, shoot 3, clean, etc for almost two boxes of ammo. I know... -

What is going on?
Why does Rokslide all of a sudden think that a .243 can be an elk gun? Why are they all about using match bullets on game? Where did this thinking come from? Does anyone here agree with any of this? I get bullet technology has advanced and elk shoulders are not actually made of titanium like...- Dubz337

New hunting rifle addition
Just picked up one of the new Weatherby Model 307s in 7mm Rem Mag. Waiting for the pic rail to be delivered then time to mount some glass and take it for a spin. Fit and finish seem very good, the Triggertech trigger is amazing. Anyone else pick one of these up? -
