Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge hogs
I got a tag for the Boars Den area of this NWR here in Texas. Anyone hunt here before? Do you own a scout rifle? Is it worth getting one?
Aside from using one for stand hunting, do you own a scout rifle and do you feel it's necessary to get one? I have my 30-06 which i've used for most everything. That being said I've been looking at .308 scout rifles and they look pretty nice. You guys that have 'em, tell me your thoughts now...- Westxhunter

Rabbit Hunters...what do you use?
We've had a couple freezes out here in the desert and it's still nice and cold. I haven't hunted rabbits more than a handful of times. If you're a desert rabbit hunter, what do you use? New Mexico Unit 18
