experince vs gifts?
I look for mass first, then horn length, then prong length. But I generally just shoot the one that I like at the moment. Ugly, extremely ling prongs, ect.- 220yotekiller

Soooo I did a dumb thing
I needed a set of rings for the 22lr that I shoot my matches with. I upgraded scopes to one that has a 30 mm body. being on a tight budget I bought a ebay special (meaning cheap). When I put the scope on I stripped one of the two screws on the rear ring for sure and I think I might be very close...- 220yotekiller

Just make sure that you keep the brass brand straight, and don't mix and match, otherwise it will be nearly impossible to develop an accurate load.
