Scope option for a truck gun
Personally I would go with a scope that is tough and reliable. There are inexpensive guns that you don’t mind beating around and will still be accurate. The same, generally speaking, can’t be said the same for a scope. My idea of a truck gun is one that you can depend on even if it looks rough. -
What are your highly educated opinions on tech in hunting?
Can you all remember before OnX, when you had to use a topographical map and a compass? Do you remember the places you could go and not see anyone else? I admit I use it and like it but it opened up a lot of areas to those who weren’t comfortable or not motivated enough to learn navigation...- Redman

Hammer Bullets - what makes them so great?
You are correct. If you switch from shooting lead core bullets and don’t clean your bore you won’t have the accuracy you are looking for. I have experienced this and know others that have as well.- Redman

Poll - One all around single cartridge under conditions
I have shot them all and own most of them. The 7mm08 is just the perfect all around cartridge. I bought one for my wife and I use it when she will let me. If I can find one in a 1-8 twist I will by it for myself. -

Mowing season
Told my wife a week ago that I will need to mowe soon. Well the monsoon season kicked in full gear so when it dries out I will probably be needing a bail it. Mowing the biggest waste of time and money there is!- Redman

Seekins PH3 7 Back Country
I have a PH2 in 7 Rem Mag. I was kicking around the 7PRC they both have the same twist rate. I have all the dies for the 7 Mag so what would I really gain going with the PRC. Glad I went with the 7 Mag. It is very accurate.
