Glacier NP (and the general surrounding area) is great. We visited last summer, fished the Blackfoot River, traveled to a few different spots from there. I'd also recommend South Dakota- the Black Hills, Custer SP, Badlands NP, Devil's Tower, Mt Rushmore, etc. Fished Spearfish Creek. Depends...- Matt/VT

Welcome Red! I love hunting timber company land in New England- nothing like tracking a big buck in the Big Woods. While not exactly public, we are lucky to have those lands to wander freely on. I'd definitely recommend getting out west when you can.
