First timer

I'm planning a group hunt to try and tag some antelope. It is four of us going we currently have 2 preference points and will get 4 more when they become up for sale in July. I have never been out for antelope and wondering what y'all had to say about weather to plan a public land hunt and if so...

Range Finder Fever

So this year will be my first trip to the wild wonderful west. I am very excited and looking forward to chasing the mule deer Wyoming has to offer. Going thru my checklist there is one thing that my hunting partner and I have discussed a lot is optics. I feel good on binoculars using my stieners...

Vaspeedgoat you know my favorite 300 rem short action ultra mag. But as you well know and seen saturday I guess I might have to blow the dust off of the 7mm 08 this year and sling some lead with it.

I plan on hunting the open country doing a lot of glassing. I might try to hunt some of the wooded areas maybe a stalk day just to mix things up alil I read in a book that if you hunt around elk country and let out a cow "mew" as they called it you can sneak up on mule deer fairly easily taking...
