Have a few doe tags for unit 83. Was thinking I’d take my side by side. Will be hunting BLM lands. Do you need a WY tab tag on BLM land. Was looking at their site and I’m thinking I only need tag if on designated 50” atv trails. Any info would be great
Got all my info gathered to get dials for two scopes. Gonna use 5000 ft and 40 degrees for environmental factors. Anyways what does everyone use for there zero?? 100 or 200 yards??
Asked earlier about grinding burger and got lots of good info. Now I'm gonna make some breakfast sausage and some bratwurst. So what percentage wild game and pork do you guys use??
Finally getting round to grinding my burger. What do you guys do for % of suet?? Was thinking 20%. Anyone ever grind burger with pork?? Hope to get a few pointers
Got a doe tag in the Cody area. Hunt was over about 5 min after shooting light. Got back to the motel about a hour later and picked up the wife and daughter. Spent the rest of the day in the buffalo bill museum. Nice family trip with a little hunting mixed in
So I know you can land plane and choppers on BLM land in Montana. What are the rules for state and national forest lands?? I'm formulating a plan and need some info
So I am going to be inhareting some fire arms from my wife's grandfather. The guns are in Ohio and I need to get them to Montana. I was thinking of having them shipped to save me a drive. Can they be mailed to a residence or do I need to ship to a firearms dealer. Trying to figure out the...
Gonna be applying in Wyoming for some doe tags. I know you can put in twice for does either both in one area or two different areas. If I guy does two apps in the same unit and he draws one does that mean you automatically get a second in that unit or do you have two draw two times to have two...
In the past I've just cut tenderloin and back straps into medallions and grilled them. This year I left them in longer sections so I can grill them whole and slice before serving. Had some tenderloin tonight and it was Awsome. Not dry like they get if you cut them first. I seasoned with salt...

So I haven't been working for a few weeks been researching antelope units in wy to pass the time. I have no points and realize that I might not be able to get a unit with great access. There is always a chance in the random draw.
So if you don't draw an area of 1st choice but draw your 2nd or...
I'm making some jerky right now. I usually use high country seasoning. I'm wanting to try something different. I have some deer meat to make another batch. Anyone have some awsome recipies they want to share?
So I bought a sako a7 300 win mag this year. I have used it all hunting season and prob put 30 rounds thru it. A few weeks ago I went to empty a unfired round and the bolt did not pull out shell. The week after I shot a deer and it ejected the fired shells no prob. this weekend I cannot get it...
Got my elk this morning and saved the heart. Gonna cook it for supper tomorrow. I have never cooked one so I'm looking for some recipes. I worked as a guide 10 years ago and camp cook would cook the hearts. They were great. I know ha fried them but can't remember the way he did it. Any suggestions
My rifle opens tomorrow and I'm pumped. Only had archery tags for the last 5 years. Got a few nice ones picked. Best of all my 7 year old is tagging along
So last weekend I started having some real bad pain in my knee while elk hunting. It was so bad that after sitting a few hours I could barely bend my knee. The pain is bad on the outside of my knee and does not seem to be in the joint. Wondering what other people do for knee pain? Braces? meds...
