What Group Size Do You Stop Load Development
I would shoot this load for additional groups and see if it's consistently grouping. Also maybe address fouling control and see if that makes a difference. A 2.25 inch group at 100 yards with open sights will be an effective hunting load.- Dan O

How old is too old to apply for physical hunts?

In Montana this talk aka argument here is not going to settle anything. It will take a corner crossing (trespass charge) to go to court. If found guilty then an appeal to the MT supreme court. My choice would be a S&W 627 PC model based on the N frame, 8 shot with a 5 inch barrel. Lipseys has a L frame 686+ mountain gun, it's a 7 shot 4 inch barrel weighing 35 oz and does not have the safety lock. For carry in the mountains this would be my choice of a 357. Or just use the MOA turret and get your velocity and BC of your bullet and develop the drop chart with that load. Same system just different measurements MOA vs Yards. -

IMO just taking the best group and ignoring the other groups is a mistake. You should average all the groups of each load. That will give an honest answer of each load.
