    Thinking of flying to AZ to get my hunter ed point before the January draw. From what I understand you can take part of it online then travel to AZ to do the field portion within 3 months of passing the online portion. Has anyone done this and have any pointers.

    Montana big game combo

    Thinking about applying for the big game combo in MT - elk/deer. Does that permit mean you can harvest a elk "AND" a deer or does it mean you can harvest one "OR" the other? Trying to decide if it is worth the extra $.

    My memory is horrible. Seems like it used to be that if you applied for moose, big horn sheep or mt. goats you couldn't apply for elk/deer in Montana. Is that still the case? I'm thinking of apply for elk but still want to get points for the big 3.
