My memory is horrible. Seems like it used to be that if you applied for moose, big horn sheep or mt. goats you couldn't apply for elk/deer in Montana. Is that still the case? I'm thinking of apply for elk but still want to get points for the big 3.

You're thinking of Idaho. Montana allows you to apply for all the species that you want.
