Mine shoots both the Weatherby 100 grain TSX and 110 grain Accubond factory loads very well, the problem is they are like $75-$85 a box. Their cheaper 100 grain Norma spire point which costs about $45/box shot pretty good too.
The only other factory load I tried was the Sierra bullet, (I...
I bought two of the USMC surplus ILBE packs on Ebay for about $80/pack. They're basically a burly internal frame pack designed by Arcteryx. It's definitely a step up from the MOLLE ruck but you have to spend some time washing the "Devil Dog" sweat out of it.
Yeah, Coues deer hunting sucks, plus you hardly get any meat off the tiny things. Mule deer and elk are way cooler and folks should definitely stay away from the southern units with the leftover tags, it's dangerous down there ;)

The Kaibab is a very cool place to visit, it's even cooler with a tag in your pocket though
If you're looking for a good excuse to go, there...

In 2008 some friends and I drew deer tags for 12A West. We went into that hunt blindly thinking big deer would be everywhere and ended up getting our butts handed to us. Wanting redemption, I've been trying to draw that tag ever since.
Fast forward to this summer, I got wind that cards were...
Congratulations, those hunts can be tough especially when going into an unknown unit like that. I didn't see a single deer for the first two days when I had that tag the first time.
