Waterfowling Heating up in WA

Some really nice flights of Northern Mallards coming through WA right now!

It's almost January. Where's the ice and snow ?!?! Looks like fun !

Not much ice or snow yet this season, if it comes it's usually in January or February...then a lot of the birds will head further south. It generally is pretty mild hear on the Pacific coast though.

That greenhead is a toad, I think it is one of the larger Mallards I've ever shot, and I have shot a few of 'em!
- His name is Ryker 1 year and 8 months, got high hopes for him, just started really liking the birds in his mouth this trip last Saturday.
