Not only was this my son Trents first Pronghorn but it was his first big game hunt holding a tag, it was a rough first hunt but very humbling for the boy. Ended up getting him on a really nice buck first thing in the morning opening day, but shot right over his back at 200 yards. After...
Had a great opening day here in Idaho. Got my first pronghorn a couple hours after sun up. It was a even better to have my son out with me. Was going to hold out for a bigger one but he never showed up, so with my little hunting buddy's pressure to shoot I put down this guy. Extremely happy...

First year hunting in Idaho, I have a question about bachelor group Bulls. I found a group of 4 big Bulls sparing together yesterday. How long do they usually stick together? They all hit the same wallow as well. Will they continue to use that wallow once they split up for the rut?
Thanks
So I have been out doing some early scouting and came across this guy. I know its not the best picture but what do you guys think? I know its early since my hunt starts in sept but he looks like a pretty good one but I want some expert opinions.
Thanks...
First year putting in for Idaho and I wasn't expecting to draw this but it was close to home so I put in anyways. Really excited and cant wait to get out and start scouting. What's the quality like on the unit? Anyone have any pics or any experience on that hunt.
Thanks
Well this year is my first year specifically going after a bear. I was wondering what areas I should focus on. Lower areas with lots of vegetation? Any tips for a novice would be great. Not sure if this makes a difference but I am hunting south central Idaho area.
Thank you
