Thank you @MTelkHuntress , that's super helpful. The sheep amendment is what I was curious about. So yet again they override the biologist trying to close the West Fork sheep unit, and on top of that they expanded the tag boundaries. -

You'll most likely not want to live right in Bonner due to the noise and housing options. Housing is expensive within commuting distance but probably nothing that'd surprise you coming from Colorado. Economic outlook for that area is fantastic. Lots of future development in the forecast...- Randy11

Mule deer opportunity?
Mature buck ratio on winter surveys is what I would be most interested in. Just my opinion, bit I don't think as many "trophy" bucks would have been killed in the Bitterroot the last 25 years had it stayed general. I personally wouldn't put any weight on that small of a sample size using that... -

No, all points other than eye guards are counted. There have been some really cool bucks killed on that tag though. The vast majority of the big (200"+) mule deer that come out of 270 have nontypical configuration and cheaters like this. Maybe that's the case everywhere, but I don't think... -

This is only true for the big game combos. Lot of elk and deer tags for Nonresidents aren't capped at a specific number. -

That's the language I thought was being discussed. Those are preference points, different than bonus points and unrelated to the limited entry draws. -

Can anyone help me out on the bonus point language? I'm not having any luck finding it anywhere in the amendments. Also, am I reading the moose tag portion correctly, that FWP will issue you a new moose tag if you killed a moose that wasn't fit for consumption in the past?
