So are you saying every voting machine in every district is already predetermined?
Or just some?
Or just the ones folks don’t agree with?
Just trying to make sense of how 2020 was stolen, but 2022 was legit, 2024 was legit, but 2026 is shaping up to be stolen.
I don’t see a pattern.

The question is how do we fix it? Everybody talks of draining the swamp and rooting out corruption, yet the deficit grows and our grand children will suffer. Do we fire everyone in congress, eliminate pacs and paid lobbyist of any kind and put a boatload of controls in place to slow down the progress of the current status quo? The shit show we currently have is not working.

I drove through 2 different counties tonight. one blue, one red both showing the deficit for x county followed by "Republicans did this" the other stated "democrats did this". Two wings, same bird.

Not the physical machines, the political machine, no matter which party wins, the one that "needs" to be voted in will be in order for the next phase of control to move forward.
I see it as all corrupt at this point and neither party will save the country from the other as they all work for the same end.
Because you live in Illinois- your vote doesn’t matter, as the outcome has already been decided by the Chicago political machine.
I'd just add that the party has little to do with it. Most of us agree with politicians only part of the time whether they have a D, R, L, or I next to their name. They work for themselves first with a goal to be elected or reelected depending on what cycle we are in.

Back to the OP purpose of the thread. Yes, I too will be glad when this election is well behind us! Hopefully the futile shenanigans by sore losers will not extend the finality by too may days/weeks one can only hope.
