As rooster cogburn would say...
TC:
That's A LOT of gun for whitetail:eek:! (John Wayne would say,"too much gun")
The 165 gr Barnes Triple Shock would be an excellent choice for whitetail, and the 180 good for big muley, elk, and more. (a light lead bullet is going to destroy lots of...
Need a bolt for a Tikka T-3 Hunter, it's chambered in 30-06 Springfield (but any standard length bolt, with a standard bolt-face, will work --257, 25-06, 270, 280, 7mm Mauser, etc). It doesn't have to be a complete bolt --but that would be best.
Hope someone can help:)!!
thanks rosco, I had been there many times, last time was this morning, those 25-20 cases have been posted since then, and it does "have promise;" as for the 218 brass listed, I'm not paying that!
I batting a big "0" here, hope my "Hunt Talk" friends can help me:
I'm having a terrible time finding brass for 218 Bee (or 25-20 Win). I've checked all the usual places (Midway, Mid-south, oncefiredbass.com, the "brass" man, & EVERY sports store I can think of), I'm not having any luck:(, sure...
Such an appropriate question, but the anti's & liberals won't get it!
Glad to hear no one was hurt Danr, had it been my car I'd have cried "crocidile tears!"
Hey Guys, need some advice:
I've got a Herters, 62", 60# laminated recurve with a twisted upper limb.
I've been told it's possible to straighten a twisted limb, but it's something I've never done. Have any of you ever straightened a twisted limb, do you have any suggestions, or know where...
WH: I wouldn't consider caffeine a bonus (I avoid it, it messes with my MS), and call me "wierd" (most do), but I drink water all-the-time (distilled, about 1-gal/day):)
But I have to agree with MOOSIE; 'pop and beer taste good'
lvz2:Glad to have you on-board, the fact that you're in Idaho, we won't hold against you. But by moving there from Californa shows that you're 'making steps in the right direction,' and shows great potential! In no-time you'll be joining me over here in "Gods-country":D always glad to have...
WHY ME ?
Was annealing the cases for me 338-06 AI and burnt my thumb (could live with that, it was small, and I seldom leave from such an activity "unscathed"),
BUT THEN I burnt the living "#@%*&!" out of my finger :BLEEP:!!
(that's gonna leave a mark  at least in wasn't...
That's makes me wonder about the property owner who took the word of a "whining-anti" over that of one of his faithful members & a fellow hunter:confused:.
Sounds like you're better-off now anyway;)!!
Thank God for you guys, and for all our military!!!
This may sound kinda wierd, but I'm actually, just a little, envious of you guys, I was medically discharged a few months after the war started (you feel kinda 'left-out' not getting to do what you're trained for).
What branch-of-service are...
