22-250 favorite powder
I use H-414 but it has been discontinued. I believe the burn rate is the same as win 760. H-380 has also been good as well as 4064. I'll use up the H-414 but it will take a while I have 10+ pounds.- Dan O

Suggestions for Old Arrows?
I used to shoot xx75 2219 for many years. Both with my recurves and compounds. I used wasp, Zwicky, Savora and Bear razor heads. The recurves were 81 pound Shaefer takedown and a 72 pound Bear Custom Kodiak TD. The compounds were 70 and 80 pound bows. Fletch them with 5 inch vanes or feathers... -

Have you checked if extra pins are available for the sight? If not I think a standard 5 pin sight will cover your needs. Be careful new sights can become a very deep rabbit hole. 5 pin sight will cover you from 20 to 60 yards. Shoot this set up for this year and if you like it then figure out... -

Heavy arrow tuning struggles
Spend the time and get it to a Bow tech dealer and take the bow + arrows and release with you. See if the dealer can get it figured out. There may be an underlying problem with the bow that has been missed. -

Any Remington 788 fans here?
Have a 22-250 I bought new many years ago. It has a tight chamber and hits pressure far faster than my other 22-250's. But it also is as accurate if not more accurate as any other rifle out there. The 788 is an amazingly accurate design that far out shoots it's pay grade. -

What Group Size Do You Stop Load Development
I would shoot this load for additional groups and see if it's consistently grouping. Also maybe address fouling control and see if that makes a difference. A 2.25 inch group at 100 yards with open sights will be an effective hunting load.- Dan O
