    My 2007 CO Buck (pics)

Well, I finally made it back from the Colorado high country after being in the wilderness for eleven days. I can’t believe how good food tastes that you don’t have to add water to. What a hunt! I’ve never been sheep hunting, but this timberline backpacking mule deer archery hunt above 12,000...

    AZ Elk Hat Trick (pics)

Well, I finally made it back from my Arizona archery elk hunt. What an awesome experience. I’ve forgotten how great this hunt really is. My hat's off to the AZG&F for proper management of this specie. The hunt started out slow, with few bulls bugling and a full moon to contend with. Both...

    AZ January Hunt

Here's a few bucks the "BOHNTR Crew" was able to arrow during the Janaury archery season in Arizona 2005. Fred's 23" massive downhill buck. Grosses 158" P&Y: (Wish I hadn't passed him earlier in the week  ) Wally's 25" 4x4 with broken G-4. Still grosses in the 150's.

Archery- one of lifes simple pleasures

T-Bone: I hear ya! It's amazing what kids will prefer over more "modern" entertainment. My kids also enjoy shooting their bows.....They REALLY enjoy 3D tournaments though. Here's one we went to last month.....he sure was proud of that 20 point arrow at the bionic target (metal).

Hey now.....did somebody mention dink dog Blacktails? Now we're talking....definately one of my favorite deer to bowhunt. About the only thing Kalifornia is good for anymore. :) Here's a few Columbian Blacktail photos the BOHNTR crew has taken the last couple years. Hope you enjoy. Got...

    Food info.

There's a great barbeque place just outside loop 1604 (mile marker 557 on I10) from San Antonio on I10 at exit with milemarker #551. Its called Rudy's (at mile marker 551) and is a red building right on the north side of I10. They have great brisquet, turkey, sausage, side orders and sodas...
