My 2024 Iowa season
Been really busy lately so haven't done any outdoor activities lately but did check Wyoming results this morning. My boys and their buddy drew type 1 antelope tags, and I struck out on my doe tag.- duckhunt

What are your 2025 Hunting Plans
5th hunt was UT gen deer. Our standard for this hunt was to take the first legal bucks we could as we only had a weekend to hunt. We went three for three and had a blast hanging out. 6th hunt was ID cow elk. I went solo and was able to connect before dark. It has been a great season so far...- Hawk Tuah

2024 WY pronghorn, deer, and R elk draw
Couple antelope tags, couple doe/fawn WTD tags, cow elk tag, and general deer and elk. My excitement grew as I scrolled down and saw Successful under deer, only to remember I put general as a second choice, haha.- Carl 9.3x62

Wyoming antelope population article
...and god damnit I drew a doe tag and we're sure as hell driving from Indiana to kill our doe! WGF gave us the tag they know what they're doing. -
Favorite Pronghorn States
I'm personally a huge fan of Wyoming. But then again I'm a resident and every year I've had residency I've managed to draw and fill three antelope tags, one any antelope tags and two doe fawn tags. They are my favorite animal to eat. -

I didn't get out to shoot a few weeks ago but did shoot the thor bullets today. Pretty happy with the performance at short distance. Going to try the Hornady bullets tomorrow. Bad news on the antelope/ doe whitetail Wyoming hunt. The unit we were going to is on fire. Feel bad for the people...- duckhunt

No... they don't. They are chasing $$$, otherwise we wouldn't be in this predicament. And this ends in 2013 when it was "the good ol' days". Much worse now. Every hay field had 200-300 antelope. Now... maybe 6-8. -
Bowhunters - not a big impact?
If your shooting instincts are good enough to kill a antelope at 114 yards you should probably quit building those 300k dollar houses in Bozeman and start filming yourself.- cgasner1

I shot my doe antelope at 114. She didn’t go 20…. I’d had multiple shots at <45. One of them, as soon as I hit the release the goat whirled and it paralleled his body at like 25 yards… I was so upset at such a slam dunk MISS. How Far is Too Far? Wyoming Legislature Mulls Shot Distance Restrictions
Personally I have a limit of 400m +-. This is NOT based on my shooting ability or my equipment. I shoot quite a bit with work and have been blessed by the lords of discount/freebies to have nicer equipment than I could have hoped for. I will shoot targets out as far as the range I am at...- SFC B
