Randy, I really enjoy the show and love your feelings on things. Seeing as how Mrs. Fin has allocated land near the big town of Saco on your way through Great Falls would love to have a cup or a beer and just talk and maybe learn a little from you or just hunt talk. You are my kinda guy! Thanks for your effort!! Hope to meet ya! Will be in Helena the 18th.
Randy this is Dan Moore I had to change my name from Bigdan to MTELKHUNTER to get on your site and how do you post a photo? And you need some camo caps. good job in Helena
I'm a rookie elk hunter and am putting in for my first draw attempt thus year after going on a private land cow hunt back in November. I get a lot out of your shows and they are great inspiration to guys like myself who don't have a huge hunting fund
I saw your post on FB. I believe I have tagged you in a pic, but it was of a huge antelope that I had taken a pic of and just wanted you to see it. Sorry for that.
I was wondering if Leupold makes a cover and a tether for there rx 1000 rangefinder. I have done some search's on the net and have come up empty. Hope your doing well, Andy Dockins
Just found out that I drew a pretty good antelope archery tag here in Colorado. The question that ponders those that have done this before...Spot and stalk or ground blind? Just thought I would ask your opinion. Have a good day.
Randy, Just checking in to see if you are in need of any more decals? Let me know if you need more decals or anything else.
Thanks, Jerrett - Blue Devil Creative
Big fan of your TV show and the way you seem to operate and am a new forum member.
I have a loaded question that I'm hoping you can help me with given your experiences with Western hunting and hunt planning.
I'm at the point where I'd like to start planning/making trips out west for big game but will only be able to do 1 every couple years (its a long drive from NJ). I've been out west a few times in the past 15 years (am 27 now) for SD turkey, MT whitetail, fishing.
Can you name a top 3 list of must do DIY hunts by game and state (factors being cost, enjoyability, scenery/mystique and hunting quality) and maybe one I could do if I applied for points for the next 2 years?
Would do it with a bow or rifle given the opportunity and would love to hunt elk or mule deer or antelope.
Thanks for any thoughts you'd have on the subject.
Randy - I just bought a nice Kodiak Flexbow tent and I would love to do that eastern MT mule deer or whitetail hunt you filmed in the ponderosa pines. Which is a better hunt for a first MT hunt? Thanks. Darby Hittle
Randy I just finished watching your eastern Mt elk hunt. episode 33 where you were dropped off by helecopter. anyway the airplane that dropped off the 2 hunters the night b4 and they were hunting the next day. That of course is ilegal and I was wondering if you mentioned that to them.
