I know what you are saying. Last year was the first time we went to eastern Montana(1100 miles for us) I agree, if you have that much time. Do not shoot the first four point you see unless it is damn nice. you should be able to find a respectable 4X4 in the 22-25 in range. I would not expect more than that. Find some place with big chunks of BLM/State/Block Management areas(not too difficult to find).
