well this is what I know so far he measured 6'9" nose to tail and his skull scored 20"5/8 and he was also 400# plus.They don't have the exact weight,but beilive it or not when they were scaling him the scale broke.I guess when he shot this bear it was standing by a decomposing bear that must of...

This bear scored over 20"he was takin on the second day at camp in nortern saskatchewan canada.What a Hog!!!!(believe it or not this bear was passed up the first night because a larger one was spotted the day before)

Bullet selection for Black Bears--Please Help!

I was out bear hunting 2 weeks ago and one of my buds shoots a rem pump 30/06 and he used 165 nosler ballistic tips and it dropped his bear in it's tracks.He tried shooting the 180's but he couldn't get good groupings,so he switched to 165's and he said he would never try a diffrent bullet...

I found out today that Abbucks bear(TOP) is going to be pope&young it scored 18 7/8 green so I,m sure it won't shrink that much more I hope.The next biggest bear we got that week was scored at 21 5/8 he was shot by a rifle.My bear scored 17 2/8. :D

Pat Boykins Bear 2000

Now thats a big bear!!!!!.I sure hope theres more like that up there because I,m going back next spring :eek: I'm hoping for a colored bear next year.

Bow Hunt

Prairie Dogs

Does any body hunt prairie dogs(gophers)? where I'm from I love to shoot these things,there is millions of them.I can shoot off hundreds of rounds a day at these things.I use my bow most of the time ,but it is always nice to let a few rounds of lead go flying there way!!!
