First gen. Toyota Tacoma TRD Crew cab with the little 4.7 V8. That truck was awesome. Put 380k miles on it then traded it in for a new Tacoma in 15. I should have kept it and just replaced the engine if it ever gave out.- tkhuntsman

Petition to mandate hunters to carry bear spray in Montana.
No thank you if I carry it I will choose to not be forced we've got enough BS rules. Same for a pistol if I choose I will carry that. It's my protection not the bear and I value human life over the bear every time.- tkhuntsman

This seems like a silly argument but I'm bored. From my experience and from research any rifle and any bullet will stop a bear it will happen fast and be close. Even a 55 grn round from a 223 at 10 feet will kill a bear graveyard dead I've seen it. The odds of a committed bear at close range...- tkhuntsman

Your preference with trigger lbs?
I like mine right at 2 lbs and have almost all of my rifles set there it takes the guess work and mistakes out of my shooting. I like rifles and own and shoot a bunch have in the same trigger pull and also length of pull set the same makes the transition easier.- tkhuntsman

Real World Hunting Setup Velocity?
I've been archery hunting for a long time and I understand and agree with 280 fps being a sweet spot. I shoot a Hoyt RX-9 at 80 lbs and 29" dl with a 495 grn victory VAP SS arrow (4mm) at 16.5 FOC it produces 295 fps and 100 ft lbs of energy at the bow.
