looking at getting my son a .22 to start learning how to shoot. ive been looking and wanted to maybe get a bolt action so in the next few years we can chase squirrels. But i see most youth guns are single shots. Any advice would be appreciated. Also my son will be 6 at christmas.

best advice i ever recieved when doing brisket is once it gets around 195 put the thermometer away. judge it then oh how easy a butter knife or even the probe on your thermometer goes in it. when it slides like butter then its done. you can't judge that by temperature
i just bought a smith and wesson governor. can load it up with 410 loads for snakes and such and u can reload the 45 long colts that it will carry. very versatile gun.
