Is your mall crawler ready to go?

If you don't feel like digging when you're stuck in those spring drifts, you can wait until the middle of the night when the temps drop and most likely drive right out on top of the snow. I learned that one the hard way. I also bought a compressor and deflator to keep in my rig this year. I...

FWP Seeking Applicants for Bighorn Sheep Advisory Group

Where does State land and WMA factor in? Is that the sweet spot between fed and private?

FWP Seeking Applicants for Bighorn Sheep Advisory Group

Man, I'm having a hard time believing they've run out of places on public to put them. There are so many giant chunks of land in Region 1 and 2 without sheep.

Is your mall crawler ready to go?

I'm at 20k on a set of these on my Tacoma. I've been really happy with the performance, but they seem like they're wearing way too fast. I doubt they'll make it to 30k. If I was driving anything even a little heavier I'd be going back to the STMaxx.

The idea of ethics at this point of time is just kind of laughable, isn't it?

AI tips, tricks, faults, and failures

Man. Maybe I've gone full curmudgeon at this point, but I refuse to touch it. I'd rather get to the wrong answer on my own. As is shown in this thread, you don't even know on HT whether you're talking to a human or not. That scares the shit out of me. The dead internet theory is not really a...

    MT- M/S/G results 26

Last year both ID and MT turned around MSG in less than a week. Getting rid of paper apps really sped things up.

Old truck appreciation (and high mileage)

Any chance you remember a club called Five Valley Four Wheelers? My dad waa heavily involved and I spent a ton of time in the back of his CJ5 as a kid on their adventures. He bought his new in Missoula in 1975, and still owns it.

    Montana draw 2026

Where else are people supposed to apply for deer? Pretty basic math that with so few LE units to apply, odds will be terrible.

    Pronghorn in the Bitterroot!?!

That's very cool. I hadn't heard about it either. There's also been a few hanging out around Clearwater Junction the last few years.

    Sunday Pic of the Day

Very cool. I grew up next door to the cemetery, but haven't been through there in a long time. When the War ended and my Granddad got home from Europe, he wanted to build a house. He went over and took enough boards from the internment barracks to build the house that I grew up in.
