Best type of Broadhead for Elk?
Expandables are being used more and more for large sized game. Faster and more efficient bows, mean that arrows are flying faster, when arrows go faster, many of the fixed blades are difficult to tune, and if wind is in the equation they can fly erratically. A few nice things about expandables... -

Achilles Rehab Week 2
It's amazing to me that those Docs can do that...so clean and neat. Wow! Speedy recovery to you! Ruptured mine about the same time, Doc gave me the option to go with a non -surgical repair. I am just over 2 weeks in my air boot.- Prdtrgttr

Geese will be safe this year
I am right there with you Nemont. I ruptured mine in a waterskiing accident on August 28th. Crazy thing is, they gave me the option of no surgery, saying the results are similar between surgery/non surgical repair. I was placed in a cast immediately, followed by air boot the next day. 2 weeks in...- Prdtrgttr

2012 Broadhead Review
Broadheads Wasp 100 gr Jak Hammers have been my go to broadhead for the last 10 yrs. Shot bears, moose, lots of deer and few antelope with them. Strong sturdy heads. Fly like darts and leave massive wound channels, large, but short blood trails! -
