I own a Kodiak Flex bow 8 person. Love it and hate it. I used it in eastern Montana this year and it was great. Ran a Mr Big Buddy heater on a 20lb tank. It wasn’t overly cold out 20-30 over night and worked great. Late November rut hunt. One person it was huge for me and all my gear. Stayed...
I find that interesting. I could see it being a positive good thing. My thoughts are choke tubes don’t get changed out much and are usually stuck in if anything. I do shot extended chokes so I just give them a twist from time to time. I also hunt in cool enough temps that I’ll clean birds when...
I would go Kabota. I’d use at least 40 hp min. The bobcat 25 hp is under powered and unless. My shop is a dealer for bobcat and that’s the only reason why I would buy one. The skid steer on the other hand is top notch.
I have the Vx-3, vx-5, VZ-6. My favorite is the VZ-5. My zoom on the 6 turns really hard. Also the 5 has a lock button on it so the dial won’t turn on it’s own which I had happen to me once before but luckily I saw it before I had to shoot. The zoom is smooth.
If you are looking for a used big foots, Dakota Extremes and some hidgen I’d love to sell my set up. Haven’t gone the last two years looking to get out of the waterfowl lifestyle.
I have the Browning Xbolt long range stainless steel heavy barrel Fluted with break in 300 win mag. It’s an outstanding rifle. I couldn’t be happier with it. The gun was that $1400 range tho. A little expensive but shoots really well. It still has some kick but it’s manageable and I’ve been able...
I have a 270win. Been shooting it for years. Just did a Antelope hunt in Wyoming. Shot him at 350 yards frontal with slight quartering away. Got top of heart, lung and liver. I’ve been using Hornady Superformance SST 130 gr. Groups at 100 yards are all touching and looks like one hole. Here’s...
