OIL Goat, what to do?
My MT billy is a what I would call a 3/4 life size. I would have preferred a standing pose but ceiling heights ruled that out. Love it and every time I look at it it takes me back to that adventure.- MTElk1987

Elk Cape/Hide
Mature antelope (15.5" inch neck or bigger) can bring over $140. A good mule deer $175+. A 30" elk can usually bring $200+. The best I've done was on 36" bull (370 type elk) that brought me $380. Tanning fees are pretty reasonable. I picked up 2 antelope capes (one was lifesize) and two mule... -

Barnes Triple Shock 130 grain for elk?
My wife has shot several bulls now with the factory loaded Barnes TTSX 130gr. 270. After seeing her results I wouldn't hesitate to use them.- MTElk1987
