I applaud your reason. Call me terrible, but my position is that I'd rather see ranches maintained and bison gone than the other way around. It's tough, but I pick people over animals.- lpshunter29

Based on my limited research, the UPOM seems like a pretty darn cool organization. I joined HT thinkin it was about discussing and supporting diy and public hunters. Forgive me if I'm out of line, but it seems you've come up with a conspiracy in which outfitters and corrupt politicians have come created a secret society hell bent on destroying hunting in America. You may think about unit 3 or 4 in Colorado. Fairly mild country on the sage part. Perhaps not exactly the kind if hunting you want but it kind of is what it is. The opposite is true. With a mechanical, you lose some of your energy opening up the blades so you'll have to limit your range more than with a fixed blade. If you're worried about accuracy, get accurate fixed blades and have your shop help you tune for them. The two that come to mind for me in...- lpshunter29
