Butchering an Elk | YouTube video

Watched last night; good video! I appreciated the info about the different parts/cuts. E.g. I buy bottom round roasts often, but never really saw where it came from.

Looking for great areas to spot and stalk bear in Wyoming

I see black bears every year in the Bighorn national forest.

"China bans trade, eating of wild animals in battle against coronavirus"

Perhaps, and maybe I should have kept mine to myself, since there's no sense in debating opinions. You touch on a point more important than the origin of the virus. Again, just opinion, but there are some who believe that this is purely market/economy manipulation. Fear and worry create...

All opinions, but good for you for taking the time to research and think critically. That's more than most.

"China bans trade, eating of wild animals in battle against coronavirus"

I'm not sure I understand the connection between reading more books and this topic; can you elaborate? Rather than regurgitate a number of facts about the source of the virus, I'll encourage you to spend a moment educating yourself instead of searching for insulting memes.

Animals aren't the problem here. Coronavirus was made in a lab and released my humans. Intentionally or accidentally is the question.

New Truck Time - Testing and Sorting

I don't have a horse in this race but something to consider when adding spacers (leveling kits) and off-roading. I've had spacers on two trucks, heard alot of clunking when messing around off road. Switched to adjustable Bilstein shocks and haven't experienced it since...

New Truck Time - Testing and Sorting

I bought a brand new F150 XLT for $36k (about $46k MSRP), added Bilstein shocks on all fours and new Duratracs (sold the OE ones for a few hundred), and I have taken that truck into some gnarly spots in Wyoming every year. Still gets 19-20 MPG with the 10 ply tires. Unless there's something...

Question from elk talk live on 2/19

Randy mentioned something about Primos and other brands using similar designs in their elk calls (can't remember exactly how he put it). Anyways, I seem to get the best sounds out of the imperial diaphragm from Primos. It's a red, double reed with a v cut. Just curious if there is a rocky...

Ways to maximize savings for retirement - If you are already maxing out your 401K

Yikes, this conversation reminds me of my first job out of college doing discrimination testing for a large third party administrator.

Favorite style/type of fishing and favorite place to do it ?

My days on the water are pretty limited these days, so I prefer to take a kayak out for largemouth bass. There are many small lakes in northern WI that do not have boat launches or allow motors, and they are a lot of fun to fish.

Regarding numbers, if you look at the job completion reports on the WY G&F website, it goes into a lot of detail about the herds in specific areas.

Wyoming > Hicks at it again

To that point, I emailed Hicks and asked him if this bill is the voice of his constituents. After all, as a state senator, his job should be to speak for the majority of them.
