Chadv- you are very welcome... I applied for all 4 hunts in KY last Friday, its a long shot, but just as esracerx said, you wont get drawn if you don't apply and for $40, its easily worth the application. I'm greedy like most, looking for good draw odds with opportunity available for a nice... -

So I am in a quandary on where to go this fall and I know deadlines will soon be hitting..... A buddy and I are both active duty and have plans on heading west this fall. I have 10 pts in AZ, but even with a party tag it is doubtful that is enough to get a tag, and honestly, I want to buy a few... -

DIY 2017 Elk hunt
I too plan on going out west for Archery Elk. I have 10 pts in AZ, but not ready to cash them in yet ( I don't think), but plan on trying my luck in NM with a back up plan of OTC in southern Colorado. I will apply for KY and PA as well, but have little optimism of getting a tag there. -

AZ Hunting?
I lived there 2006 to 2008. I would live on the outskirts of Phoenix, maybe Mesa, Peoria, or Scottsdale (if u can afford). If you can live anywhere in the state, I would look at Strawberry or Prescott. Lots of great country there with beautiful scenery and cooler temps compared to Phoenix. If I...- jimmyk

Montana Draw process
Not to high jack the thread, but I'm confused too. I don't see in the regs where it shows what/where the limited quota units are. Also, what does it mean when it shows a unit and has a -20 or another number behind the unit number?? -
