Thanks for the input....
Of course I have some sort of a plan, haha. I have been hunting elk in Idaho and Montana and just putting in for Wyoming points knowing one year, i would hopefully have some points to draw a tag and have a good time chasing bulls.
Just thought i would reach out and see...
I have 9 elk points for Wyoming that i would like to burn this coming year. I mostly hunt alone and would prefer to stay out of Grizz country. I would love to hunt a unit that i can archery hunt first and be able to head back with a rifle if I am not able to arrow one, but i know that may make...
I have the general elk tag this year but don't have a place to go or anyone to go with for the rifle season. I was wondering if anyone might be looking for someone to go with. I hunted the Missouri Breaks with my bow but was not successful so I was hoping to get out with the rifle but don't...
My son drew a Youth Any Bull Elk tag for this fall and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I will be hunting in Idaho with my bow this year but will be coming back to hunt with him and try to get him a bull. He has shot a cow elk before but this will be his first chance at a bull...
And 48 has tripled the number of hunters in the last 5 yrs. Never saw so many archery hunters as I did last year. And hiking in helps, but most have figured out that's what it takes to get into elk, so they are everywhere.
Sorry to add to the mess of people trying to figure out what to put in for in Wyoming. I have never hunted or been in either of the units, but have archery hunted elk in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming before. I have 9 points, so it looks like the archery only hunts I would have good chance of drawing...
Garmin 62s with onXmaps chips. The 2 chips are the multiple states without landowner names. One chip is ID, MT, and WY. The other is AZ, CO, NM, UT. Works perfectly, a couple scratches on the screen.
Asking $300.
email me if interested, [email protected]
Thanks
Thanks... For nothing!
I see the carbon fiber frames look the same, both say load tested to 150lbs, but can find anything about the suspension system. In the pictures I can't tell if they are the same or not.
Does anyone know if the frames and suspension system of the icon pro and the ultra are the same? I know the bags are interchangeable, but just wondering if the icon is more stout.
Thanks
Been hunting Idaho for years, and putting in for controlled hunts, with no luck. Today I got a postcard, I drew unit 44 for mule deer. Have hunted 48 and 43, but not 44, but heard some good things.
Anyone care to help with some starting points to start looking? Plan on a couple trips up there...
Bowhunted unit 48 but was unable to get it done, so heading back to try to find a spike with a rifle. Anyone have any tips or helpful info for where the elk might be this time of year?
Thanks in advance for any help!
