Every season I see a few really nice bucks come through our yard but just can't bring myself to pull the trigger...lol Then I head out on backpack hunts on public ground...

    I think it definitely depends on the person. It certainly isn't going to kill any better than a lot of factory rifles. For me it's worth it as I get exactly what I want and I appreciate the workmanship of a great custom build

    Sounds perfect to me and is how I grew up hunting. There's so much tech today that it's hard to call it hunting, or at least by my standards
