    Very few ducks in the SE corner this year. Most sloughs are dry enough to walk across without getting your boots muddy.

    What size shot? Multi-species

    I use only steel and hunt only wild SD pheasants and honkers over decoys. I use #2 all season and love it. Very few BBs in the meat and way fewer feathers in the meat. May have to wait a second or two on a close flusher but also part of the fun.

    MT app question

    Don't think Ill make it to MT this year so was thinking I would just do the point app in July. Question is if I apply now and put in for a LE and don't get it would that be more expensive than just doing the point deal in July?
