I found both of the new knives to be great this season. I packed the replaceable blade on my long hikes and the light weight was wonderful. The fixed blade stayed on my hip most of the time and took care of everything from cooking at camp to caring for my buck. My only problem with either knife...
So I’m shooting my 6.5 prc and have found that without fail every time I take a cold bore shot it is 1” high. The following shots are all very tight and pattern well. Is there a way to get that cold bore shot in the same spot as the next 5-10?
This is one of my favorite ways to use dove as well. When I get too many Eurasian doves around the house I thin them out with the pellet gun and make poppers
Love mine. I’d plan on at least an hour and a half for a roast and trimmings. But it depends on your elevation too. Make sure you add enough liquid to it too. The liquid is key to cook time and quality

I waited 14 years for this tag in Utah. As a resident I expected to kill a better bull but didn’t get the time to scout because of work. When the time came to hunt my boss gave me a single day off because we were working 7 days a week. I messed up a shot on a really big bull in the 370 range...
So I am wanting to do an otc deer hunt in Idaho this fall and know very little about the state. I would like to hunt around Pocatello. Have any of you had experience in that area who could help a guy out?
