Thanks guys I really appreciate the input!! I know that if I hunt deer first, I'll see a monster elk and vise-versa lol. As for my condition, I'm 57 but I can probably outwork 95% of people regardless of age (not bragging, I've just always stayed in shape). As for the type of elk hunt...- bigdonniebrasco

I started buying elk points in WY REALLY late in life, and even though I am only at 7 points, I think I should probably burn them while I can still hike! Easy question for you all....re: elk tag vs points
I got an email from Wyoming fish and game stating that Jan 31st was the last day to apply for an elk license. I assume if all I want to do this year is buy an elk POINT, that the deadline is much later in the year? Thank you!! Don- bigdonniebrasco

I have killed my fair share of whitetail, and Pronghorn, but I have yet to even hunt Mule Deer. I live in East Central KS, and I have 2 points in WY. As I start doing my research, have any of you got any input as to where I might set my sights for my first mulie hunt? Thank you!!- bigdonniebrasco
