2006 Hunts
I only have one AK hunt planned cuz of my move to anchorage coming up but my season looks busy Aug 1 start move to AK Aug 17-28 Caribou hunt in AK Sept 14-21 Deer Permit Wy Oct 9-13 Deer Idaho Oct 13-31 Bighorn Sheep Idaho Nov. finish move to AK- AKBound

Finally an Idaho Unit 45 hunt...
If you can only take a few days off, I would take the end of the season for sure. I drew a buck for last year for a hunt that ran through Nov. 5. I saw more deer every day. New bucks just appeared every day til the end. -

Backpack Food Question....

THIS IS A NO BRAINER!!!!!! If we set a standard that requires the tongue to be in the mouth then stick to it. They should be in. You very seldom see them in the Mag's because it matters. Non Resident Allocations
I looked through the regs and I cant find where it says if a certain number or percentage of draw tags go to nonresidents. For example, there are 100 dall sheep permits for the Tok. Does everyone get put in together?- AKBound

If you have a buck with good width, say at least 26", then put the ears forward, but if you killed a buck that is narrow, then put his ears back. It makes them look bigger because you don't get a frame of reference on how wide he is. Hope that helps. I had Sam Raby of Utah custom make this...
