Don’t know how I missed this but conversation. Hope everything went well with the surgery, and he is recovering nicely.

I never did update on the injury. So after getting jerked around a bit at our local hospital we moved on to UVA and Duke. Because a non-throwing injury to a UCL is rare and even more rare in young kids, we were able to get in quickly at both places. In fact Duke put us to the front of a two month line and saw us in 5 days.

Both said the original MRI reading was not correct and it was not a complete tear. Both also said with the growth plates wide open, they felt rest, therapy, and a brace would be sufficient for full recovery. We go back this week for a follow up.
