As a board member and officer of a locally based 501c3 that 100% of funds go to conservation projects, outdoor recreation and environmental education inside our county I would encourage everyone to look for projects or organizations that benefit them right in there backyard. The National organizations and their local chapters are great and I support them as well, but I reap the benefits locally everyday!
