Mostly just extremely repressed. Those people have literally never had freedom in their entire history. They don't even know what it is. They went from Mongolian rule to Czarist, to Communist dictatorship and now Oligarchy dictatorship. Very turbulent history.

Not a good deal going on right now with the Russians. Putin is attempting to change the international rules based order, this is a direct confrontation with us in America make no mistake about it. I cannot predict what has not occurred yet, but do believe this - it 'isn't gonna end well this is serious crap.

True, was more referring to those in power over the centuries. That being said, my adopted family is eastern European, polish, Russian, they are all pretty nuts lol.
