Good on WGFD and sheridan courts for carrying through with some justice on these guys. $250,000 should be a good deterrent but in the Long case I think he should of had a longer jail sentence being as this was his second poaching violation.

we are way to lenient on all criminals.
this is how all criminals no matter the offense should be treated
1st offense- fines and jail time and mandatory castration /spay. make sure they can't spawn any future offenders.

2nd offense it has now become clear they are a lost cause and have no regard to the laws of society or rights of any individual but themselves . mandatory decapitation.

I have zero doubt crime rates will fall if we adopt this logical coarse .
