I've been hunting Colorado for a few years and decided to pick up a Wyoming unit 94-6 cow tag to try a new area. I'm almost entirely focusing on the western part of the unit as it's forest service land which seems less roaded (The Newberg elk-finding method :)). I'm wondering if anyone has hunted the eastern BLM portion for elk? Should I solely focus on the western forest services section? The eastern part seems much more antelope country with lots of oil / gas.
Thanks yall!

Stick with the FS and you will have little trouble finding elk.
