Wyoming unit 124

My son drew a 124 elk tag in wyoming. We are from SW Co, any guidance from someone that lives in the area or has hunted it before would be greatly appreciated

1) bowhunt it
2) spend a lot of time there, wicked cool place, lots of awesome rocks and artifacts
3) great places to glass take good optics
3) take a tough old 4X4 truck with good tires
4) plan on spending a ton of money in gas
5) be picky and count you're blessings, you'll never be hunting elk there again

I deleted it after I read a few more threads, nothing fishy about it. Sounded like you're against advice/help from somebody... I used to make a living guiding but I've also shared camp with tons of people free of charge just for the record, for no personal gain other than friendship and love of the hunt... Nothing personal intended...

Not sure if you’ve seen the drawing odds, but even with max points I wouldn’t be packing a suitcase yet.
