Wyoming mule deer unit 81

My party of 5 drew Wyoming mule deer unit 81. We have not hunted deer in Wyoming. I have talked to the biologist twice. He was very helpful. I realize it is more of a timber hunt and it is a high elevation hunt. I'm reaching out to anybody that's has hunted this area and or maybe somebody that is planning to do the archery elk hunt in this area. Thanks for any help.

I've been around that unit a little bit and my uncle has elk hunted it so we've talked a lot about the area. You can PM me if you want the dirty details. I'm sure there are guys with a lot more experience around the area though.

I elk hunted it last year. Saw very few deer in the timber. I would look to access the blm land out towards the hwy.
