Hi everybody,
I've enjoyed reading a lot of the threads and learning a lot. Did a public land antelope bow hunt last fall near Gillette and had a blast.
I'm looking into heading out again this fall for a DIY archery deer hunt in Wyoming and have zero points. I've done some research on Region M units 39, 40, 164, and J units 64, 65, and the public land that's available. Also have talked to a couple game wardens.
Not looking for anybody's honey holes, just would like to learn some more and hear some general opinions on the mule deer in those areas. Any pros or cons of either region? Thanks.

Yep, definitely planning on bowhunting again to deal with fewer other hunters, and enjoy some hopefully nice weather.

I have hunted Region M during the bow season. You should find some deer, and the potential exist for a decent one. If you want you can shoot me a PM with what you are thinking for a plan and I can let you know if you are heading in the right directions.
