WY unit 38 elk

Any of you fellas ever hunt this unit? Gonna be headed up that way in a couple weeks. Wondering what I should hold out for. It's gonna be my first archery elk hunt but I figure I can be a little picky since I've got 3 weeks to spend. Also wondering what the deer numbers are like and if It'd be worth it to get a deer tag. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post when I get back. Hope you all have a good season. Thanks.

No help with that unit but wish you luck and look forward to hearing how you did. For my first elk hunt, I'd shoot first branch antlered bull I see. I'd also get Elknut's cd's and listen/study them carefully. Good Luck!
