Wy unit 27

So its official. Tags came in the mail today and my 13 year old son and i will be headed to unit 27 this october. Already got some great advice from topgun. Now looking for anything more if youve been there before. Thanks in advance. Brandon

Best of luck! I look forward to hearing how your hunt goes. I have never hunted Wyoming, though using the Insider from GoHunt that was the unit my wife and I were looking to apply for in 2017!

I've spent a fair bit of time in 27 over the past 15 years. There's a good bit of public land in the east end of the unit that typically holds decent bucks. In 2013 we drove through there late in the afternoon on the 2nd of October and counted at least half a dozen shooters that would have been doable if we hadn't tagged out earlier. Good Luck
